init

TypeScript
static initPixelBufferAttributes55832(pixelBufferAttributes: _CoreVideo_CVPixelBufferAttributes): AVPlayerItemVideoOutput
Swift declaration
convenience init(pixelBufferAttributes: CVPixelBufferAttributes)

Initializes an instance of AVPlayerItemVideoOutput, using the specified pixel buffer attributes, for video image output - Parameters: - pixelBufferAttributes: The client requirements for output pixel buffers

method · iOS 26.0+

pixelBufferAndDisplayTime

TypeScript
pixelBufferAndDisplayTime(itemTime: _CoreMedia_CMTime): { "pixelBuffer": (_CoreVideo_CVReadOnlyPixelBuffer) | null; "itemTimeForDisplay": _CoreMedia_CMTime }
Swift declaration
func pixelBufferAndDisplayTime(forItemTime itemTime: CMTime) -> (pixelBuffer: CVReadOnlyPixelBuffer?, itemTimeForDisplay: CMTime)

Retrieves an image that is appropriate for display at the specified item time, and marks the image as acquired - Parameters: - itemTime: A CMTime that expresses a desired item time - Returns: A tuple containing the image to be displayed and a CMTime representing the true display deadline for the pixel buffer Typically you would call this method in response to a CADisplayLink delegate invocation and if hasNewPixelBuffer(forItemTime:) also returns true. The buffer retrieved from pixelBufferAndDisplayTime(forItemTime:) may itself be nil. A nil pixel buffer communicates that nothing should be displayed for the supplied item time.

Skipped declarations

1 declarations were excluded from these bindings. Each reason comes from the generator or the iOS SDK compiler.

AVPlayerItemVideoOutput.init()

inherited init: cannot prove legal (class declares 3 custom initializers)
